it is kind of cozy, and the guests here say hi to each other...makes it like a real home. the lobby is special, you can do everything here...although the room is a little simple..but money-worthy.

Comfy bed, staff willing to help with city information. Close to metro Pasar Seni so easy to walk to/from with luggage.
My room was a box with no windows. It was away from the traffic noise but in order to close the door, people decided to bang it so was woken regularly by noise and bathroom echoes so can lie and listen to people's conversations. Would have been nice to have several coat hangers to hang clothes on.but didn't expect much more for the price.

Location is good, close to Chinatown and LRT/train stations. Free breakfast(only toast) but for the cost, it is great place to stay.
Our room was facing the main street where buses stop throughout the day. So don't expect a sleep in. You can request to change rooms, but we were there for only a couple of nights, so we didn't bother. Overall great place to stay.

We really enjoyed that they offered butter, bread, and jam. the location was great and absolutely perfect, with a short walk to the train station. - It was a short walk to the center of China town, central market, KTM, and various sightseeing spots.

The facilities inside the room is very good and more comfortable. Explolers Guesthouse is located near China town, central market and Rapid subway.
In front of The Explorers Guesthouse is bus stop of Metro Bus. It's a lot of noisy and pollution.

There was nothing not to like, at our arrival we were welcomed by a nice and helpful young man who made us feel welcome and comfortable straight away and you could tell by the other people milling around the foyer that they were quite relaxed there aswell. Getting up in the morning and sharring the (free) tea, coffee & toast with the other guests was good as well. The bathrooms and bedrooms were as clean as any were I have stayed and I have traveled quite a bit. Also the free internet was very handy and there were enough places to just relax peacfuly or talk about your travels with other guests. For what we payed I would have no problems giving it a 10 out of 10
The only thing was that the taxi driver couldn't find it so he droped us off a few hundred metres from there and told us it was easy to find, even though he couldn't, that was no fault of the guest house though, we had to laugh.
